Philadelphia – July 4th, 2010. Where it all Began.

Street Performers young and old joined in on the festivities.

With the temperature almost reaching 100 degrees, this seemed to be the most reliable method of cooling down.

Insane amounts of people crowded the streets as The Roots took the stage around 8pm. I don’t know how many people were there, but it felt like one million to me.

The Goo Goo Dolls took the stage and played song after song after song.  It was an extremely positive atmosphere on a very muggy night.

What would be better than ending the night with a fireworks display at the Philadelphia Art Museum. Fireworks light up the Philadelphia skyline for over 16 minutes while onlookers snapped photos and captured videos on their cameras and phones. Have a safe summer!
