The passion I have for exploring and documenting Nature in its glory is something you can’t just go get at the supermarket. After more than 15 years, I still do not know “Why” I choose to get up at 2am or stay awake for 48 hours and drive or fly any amount of time to try to capture an image on film that only exists in my mind. But when you get down to it, it’s all about the experience of being introduced to new things you have never seen before. In my opinion, America has the best landscapes and weather in the world by a mile. We have towering mountains, volcanoes, deserts, plains, glaciers, islands, oceans, lakes, rivers, lightning storms, tornadoes and blizzards and some of the darkest skies in the world. Most people seem to overlook these things , so I am here to capture them in their rarest form in hopes of inspirating others to care for our envoirnment and our night sky.
